Oversized stylized leaf forms in deep forest green sprawl across a soft cream field, painted as flat color silhouettes with the gestural confidence of a paper cutout. Each leaf reads as multi-lobed and rounded — some carrying internal negative-space cuts, others solid — and the shapes are large enough that two or three forms anchor each visible repeat. The brushwork shows directional fill texture inside each shape, suggesting the layered translucency of overlapping painted paper.
The palette holds to two notes: deep emerald-forest green and warm cream ground. Nothing else competes. Scale is heroic — leaf forms span a hand's width or more — and the composition has the breezy, oversized quality of a 1950s decorative print scaled up to wall size. The visual logic owes something to mid-century studio collage and to early modern textile design, with the immediate readable confidence of a hand-cut stencil.
Best in rooms that want bold graphic energy: dining rooms, entry halls, sunrooms, the back wall of a primary suite, and powder rooms with strong architectural detail. Works in mid-century modern architecture, Palm Springs-style homes, contemporary art-collector interiors, and traditional houses that want one room of unexpected pattern confidence. Pairs with caned furniture, rift oak, brass lighting, leather seating, and woven sisal. The deep green reads particularly well against warm white trim and gives the pattern a botanical legitimacy despite its abstract treatment.
