Received samples and they are works of art. Can’t decide which pattern to use in my moody powder bathroom.
One sample and one true-to-scale 24″ × 24″ panel — same pattern, same material. See the color, texture, and repeat before you commit to rolls.
Includes 1 Peel & Stick sample and 1 Peel & Stick 24″ × 24″ panel.
A deep burgundy ground holds a friendly repeat of fluffy white terrier-type dogs — Sealyhams or Bichons — drawn in confident cream and pale honey with loose, slightly naive linework that emphasizes fur volume and expressive faces. The dogs stand and sit in varied postures, faces turned at different angles, giving the repeat a casual, animated quality. Black ink picks out eyes and noses, anchoring each figure.Scale is generous, and the white-against-wine palette gives the paper a vintage-illustration feeling, somewhere between a 1950s children's-book plate and a Cecil Aldin sporting print. The mood is warm and a little witty — fond rather than precious. It works in a mudroom or back hall, a dog-friendly family room, a guest powder room, or a dressing area. Pairs with red-and-white check, navy lacquered furniture, and brass picture lights. The burgundy is the dominant note — bring it forward with similarly toned upholstery, or balance it with crisp white millwork.
