A faded mid-century postcard view of a Miami avenue rendered in soft mint, blush pink, butter cream, and faded teal — Art Deco buildings stepping down toward the beach, a single coconut palm leaning across the foreground, scattered cumulus clouds in a dusty sky. The image repeats horizontally with consistent framing, so the wall reads as a continuous strip of vintage tourist postcards rather than a single mural. Small details — striped lifeguard stands, parked beach equipment, mid-century awnings — reward close inspection.
The palette is unmistakably 1950s Florida, photographed and reproduced through the slightly faded color emulsions of the period. Pinks have softened to chalky blush; greens have moved toward dusty teal; the sky has the warm cream cast of paper that has yellowed slightly with age. Visible halftone patterning and soft grain throughout the composition reinforce the postcard reference and prevent the paper from reading too clean.
This is a paper for rooms that want vacation atmosphere as a permanent state. A pool-house bar, a Florida-room ceiling, a guest bath in a beach cottage, a small powder room in a vacation rental. Pair it with white-painted bead-board, polished chrome bar fixtures, mint-painted wicker, and ceramics in coral and turquoise. The faded palette ensures the paper reads warm rather than gimmicky; the architectural subject gives it sufficient sophistication to perform in adult rooms as well as children's spaces.
Wallpaper pattern is 24" x 24" repeat.
