Liberty Bells rendered in deep navy block-print line each row of a soft cream field, with eight-pointed stars and small starburst marks scattered between as connecting motifs. The bells are detailed with cracked surfaces, decorative banding around the body, ribbon ties at the crown, and visible woodcut stippling that gives each one a hand-pressed quality. Some bells face front, others tilt slightly — the variation reads as a row of stamped impressions where the printer adjusted the block between strikes.Scale is bold and the visual logic is unapologetically graphic. The composition functions as a true block-print repeat: bells aligned in horizontal rows with stars filling negative space between. The palette is restrained — navy ink against cream paper with occasional warm gold star accents — and the whole pattern carries the confidence of a hand-pressed fabric panel. Linework varies in weight: thick block fills inside the bell forms, fine cross-hatching for shadow detail, loose dotted star marks for the punctuation.Suited to bunk rooms, children's bedrooms, mudrooms, and any space that wants Americana reference handled with restraint. Works in colonial revival architecture, painted New England farmhouses, and modern interiors that want one bold patterned wall. Pairs with painted wainscoting, hooked rugs, indigo ticking stripe, and aged brass hardware. Particularly handsome in entry halls where the navy reads against white millwork and picks up evening light from porch lamps.
Wallpaper pattern is 24" x 24" repeat.
