A bold graphic pattern in deep forest green and cream — silhouetted female figures in profile, palm fronds, monstera leaves, and tropical foliage arranged in a layered composition that suggests a Matisse-era cutout study reborn at wallpaper scale. The figures are stylized and abstract: heads in profile with curled or wrapped hair, draped garments, and the suggestion of upper torso, shown as flat dark green silhouettes against the cream ground.
The palette is restricted to two values — saturated forest green and creamy ivory — with no third color introduced. Where shapes overlap, slight value shifts in the green suggest layered cutouts. The leaves are stylized rather than botanically accurate; the figures are mythic rather than literal; the entire composition reads as a contemporary homage to mid-century paper-cut art rather than a traditional jungle pattern.
This is paper for rooms that want one strong artistic gesture. A primary bedroom with white linens, a small dining room, a powder room behind a black-lacquered door, a stair landing. Pair it with creamy painted millwork, woven seagrass, cane furniture, and ceramics in white or matte black. The two-color clarity ensures the paper reads as deliberate art rather than as decoration, and the figural element gives the room a cultural weight that pure botanical patterns cannot deliver. Avoid pairing with competing pattern — this paper wants room to be the single statement.
Wallpaper pattern is 24" x 24" repeat.
