Oversized coral and ivory peonies and anemones layer across a soft warm cream ground, with deep teal and forest leaves providing structural counterweight. The flowers carry detailed petal articulation with directional brush strokes radiating from each center, and the dark centers of the anemones — nearly black with fine yellow stamen marks — provide visual anchor points across the field. Small coral and pink buds tuck between the major blooms, and pale ivory eucalyptus-style sprigs add quiet middle-tone detail.
Palette balances three families: warm coral-and-salmon for the peonies and anemones, deep teal and forest green for the foliage, and warm cream for the ground. Scale is generous; the largest flowers span a hand's width or more, with the composition rotating around two or three hero blooms per visible repeat. The brushwork has the dimensional layering of an oil painting transferred to print — visible paint thickness in the petal centers fading to softer wash at the edges
A handsome choice for dining rooms, primary bedrooms, powder rooms, sunrooms, and the back walls of formal entry halls. Works in traditional architecture, restored Federal and Greek Revival homes, English country interiors, and modern houses that want one richly patterned room. Pairs with carved walnut, antique brass, oxblood leather, faded oriental rugs, and deep green velvet upholstery. The cream ground keeps the pattern from feeling closed in despite the saturated florals, making it unusually flexible for both north-facing and south-facing rooms.
