It is absolutely gorgeous in my kitchen. It is great quality paper.
One sample and one true-to-scale 24″ × 24″ panel — same pattern, same material. See the color, texture, and repeat before you commit to rolls.
Includes 1 Peel & Stick sample and 1 Peel & Stick 24″ × 24″ panel.
Tightly stacked antique book spines in burgundy, oxblood, ochre, mustard, slate-grey, and warm cognac, each spine ornamented with raised bands, embossed cartouches, decorative end-papers, and faded inscriptions in honey-toned ornament. The rendering is painterly and atmospheric, with deliberate pigment scumbling and worn passages that read as genuine age.
Scale is one-to-one — these are life-sized book spines — and the vertical orientation is uninterrupted, giving the paper a strong architectural rhythm. The color story is rich and saturated without being heavy: warm reds dominate, broken by ochre and slate intervals, with honey ornament tying the field together.
A natural choice for a study, a back wall in a small library, a powder room with leather armchairs, or a stair hall in a townhouse with crown molding and chair rail. Pairs with leather club furniture, brass picture lights, dark walnut, oxblood velvet, and silver decanters. Best lit warmly with picture lights or candle sconces; cool overhead lighting flattens the depth. Verticality flatters tall rooms; in low-ceilinged spaces, hang it from chair rail upward and pair with warm-painted millwork below.
