Received samples and they are works of art. Can’t decide which pattern to use in my moody powder bathroom.
One sample and one true-to-scale 24″ × 24″ panel — same pattern, same material. See the color, texture, and repeat before you commit to rolls.
Includes 1 Peel & Stick sample and 1 Peel & Stick 24″ × 24″ panel.
A muted sage-green ground stages thoroughbreds at full extension, jockeys low in the saddle, drawn in flat blocks of dusty rose, cream, deep wine, and black. The horses gallop in varied directions across the field with foreshortened anatomy that reads almost like a high-speed photograph caught in pigment. Pale cloud-shaped washes ghost behind them, suggesting turf and motion.Scale is large and dynamic, and the limited palette — pink-on-sage with wine and black accents — gives the paper an unmistakably continental, between-the-wars character. The flat color treatment recalls Vanity Fair sporting plates and 1930s travel posters more than literal racing photography.Suits a study, a powder room with green millwork, a back hallway in a Bluegrass-style home, or a small dining room. Pairs with bottle-green leather, brass tack hardware, hunt-club plaids, and silver julep cups. The sage ground is unusually flattering to skin tones in mirrored spaces — worth considering for a dressing area.
