Canvas & Ivy — SMS Privacy Policy
This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Canvas & Ivy collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our Trade Program text messaging service. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.
Mobile information and messaging consent are never shared, sold, or rented
SMS opt-in data and mobile phone numbers will never be shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information we collect
- Your mobile phone number, which you provide voluntarily on our Trade Program application
- Your messaging consent status — recorded separately for account/transactional messages and for marketing messages — along with the date, time, and source of each consent
- Your name, business name, and email address, provided on the same application
- Message delivery and engagement records (for example, whether a message was delivered or you replied STOP)
How we use this information
- To send only the categories of text messages you specifically opted in to receive
- To respond to your replies and provide customer support
- To honor opt-out requests and maintain records demonstrating compliance
Two separate consent types
Our opt-in form presents two distinct, optional, unchecked-by-default checkboxes:
- Account & order messages (non-marketing) — order and shipping updates, sample and quote follow-ups, appointment confirmations and reminders, and customer support replies.
- Marketing messages — new collections, trade-only offers, and promotions.
Consent to one does not enroll you in the other, and neither is a condition of any purchase.
Service providers
We use a messaging service provider solely to transmit the messages you requested. That provider processes your number only to deliver our messages on our behalf and is prohibited from using it for its own marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your number or consent data with any other third party.
Your choices
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or email trade@canvasandivy.com. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Data retention
We retain messaging consent records for as long as necessary to operate the program and to document compliance with applicable law.
